NCS Colour Academy was formed more than 75 years ago with a mission to research and spread knowledge about color. The aim was to improve the quality of life by helping people to use color with purpose and intent when designing the spaces we live in and objects we interact with.
Eventually, this led to the forming of the only international organization of color research, AIC, in 1969. As a result of more than 30 years of research, in 1979, Natural Colour System was launched.
Today NCS Colour Academy provides color training, seminars, and education worldwide, under the NCS brand or together with education partners such as fairs, industry partners, universities, and craft organisations.
